Our care rituals for hair full of life
Beautiful hair and a healthy scalp require a proper daily routine.
01. Your first beauty ritual is shampooing, which requires at least 5 minutes. Prepare your hair for shampooing by combing it carefully. If your hair is semi-long or long, apply a small amount of L'HUILE DE LEONOR GREYL oil before shampooing, which you will distribute along the length of your hair with a brush. The oil detangles, nourishes and softens the hair.
02. Your shampoo
It is used in small quantities thanks to the high concentration of active substances. After combing, wet your hair well, pour the shampoo into the palm of one hand and distribute it on both hands. Then put your fingers on the scalp and massage it lightly in circular motions, lifting the hair from time to time. Repeat this process adding small amounts of water each time. If you wash your hair every day, one shampoo is enough, if not, two shampoos are necessary.
03. Your rinsing technique
It is very important that the rinsing is done carefully. Emulsify your shampoo well and then rinse well with lukewarm water. To know if your hair has been washed well, check if it squeaks under your fingers. Finish rinsing with as cold a stream of water as possible, which will make your hair more shiny.
04. Your mask
After washing, lather your hair, put the mask on your palm, distribute it along the length and rub it strand by strand. Depending on the condition of the hair, leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. Then comb the length and ends with a wide-toothed comb. Rinse well and scrub your hair. In some cases, deep care products are necessary to restore the hair's healthy appearance. We also recommend additional care with products without rinsing, which will prolong the effect of the treatment.
If the lengths and ends of your hair are dry, it is recommended to use a mask.
05. Your Leave-in care
Apply to the exfoliated scalp section by section, with a light massage to improve and prolong the effects of the care. Do not rinse. Let the hair dry naturally or with a hair dryer.

The history of the Leonor Greyl house begins with the meeting of two passionate beings: Leonor, who is a fan of beautiful and healthy hair, and Jean-Marie, an engineer and botanist. Together, they were driven by the same desire: to create hair care products of natural origin, long before bio waves.
The Leonor Greyl line was created in 1968 when Leonor met her future husband, whose knowledge of botany was astounding. That's when the idea of hair care preparations based on herbs and active natural ingredients was born, which give hair shine, tenderness and beauty.
Leonor Greyl remained a family business. Today it is taken care of by the second generation, Caroline Greyl, daughter of the founder of this house, with her husband, an American chemist in love with plants.
